Tynedale Hospice at Home appeals for volunteers

Have you got spare time on your hands? Are you looking for a worthwhile volunteering opportunity in the heart of your community?  If the answer is yes then Tynedale Hospice at Home needs you!

We are in desperate need for more volunteers to support us in a range of activities, including:

Collecting tin volunteers to pick up and deliver collecting tins from agreed sites

Office volunteers to coordinate collecting tin deliveries

Occasional fundraising volunteers to man our fundraising stands at community events, support bag packs and other one-off events

Hospital Transport volunteers to take people to vital hospital appointments

No matter how much time you have - whether it’s just an hour a week or the odd day here or there, we have a whole range of opportunities available to suit you.

Tynedale Hospice at Home provides hospice nursing care in the home, pre and post bereavement support through its Family Support Service and a Hospital Transport Service to people living in Tynedale, West Northumberland, Ponteland and the surrounding areas.  All the services are provided free of charge.
